The primary objective of a car salesperson is to sell cars. This will usually be for a dealership which specialises in one or more make of vehicle.
Car sales executives help customers choose between models, view and test drive these cars and complete sales. As much of their time is spent working directly with customers, car salespeople need excellent customer service skills. A good working knowledge of the advantages of different types of car is also required to help customers find the vehicles that are right for them.
