Sales Manager/Controller for a New Motor Dealership in North East
Reg: CL35237
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 + Bonus + Car + Benefits
Location: North East

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Sales Exec,Controller or Manager who has at least three years Motor Trade experience with a proven background within the Motor Industry and someone who is highly motivated, commercially aware with customer focus with a strong business acumen.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to seek out, negotiate and secure profitable sales of new and used vehicles and additional products to the retail sector. Ensuring all company policies and procedures applicable to area of responsibility are adhered to at all times. Knowledge of vehicle, consumer and trade practices is a must. Excellent man management skills and the ability to motivate staff.

On a day to day basis you must protect the company’s financial liability by structuring and authorizing all sales department transactions utilising the pre-set parameters and when instructed. Ensure correct administration procedures are adhered to by all the sales staff at times, prospect new sales opportunities, ensuring the team make welcome every visitor to the showroom.

Other duties will include;

§ Responsible for the supervision of sales staff and corporate sales staff
§ Creating and managing the plans and forecasts for sales
§ Developing annual goals for the dealership as part of the business plan and monitoring performance
§ in relation to the plan
§ Producing presentation for meetings
§ Required to work closely with the General Manager.
§ Involved with financial aspects of the business and required to carry out monthly and annual reporting along with sales forecasting.
§ Monitor the progress of each sold vehicle, informing customers of any delay and check that vehicles are properly prepared for handover.
§ Oversee all areas of the showroom and forecourt and ensure both areas are always maintained.
§ Handle all internal and external customers in keeping with the company values.

The chosen applicant must have the ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and influencing skills coupled with commercial awareness. Someone who is very target driven and customer focused whilst also working well as part of a team. PC literacy is essential!!!
