Service Manager £30-35k Basic/£40-45k OTE Sussex We currently have an excellent opportunity for a focussed and motivated Aftersales professional seeking a challenge involving the highest levels of achievement. The role requires an individual with the ability to lead by example, coaching and developing staff as you go, to achieve excellent results against plan in terms of profitability, quality and customer service. This will include the accurate planning and implementation of procedures, marketing campaigns, appraisals and systems to ensure a smooth running and high performing department. Ultimately, the client is looking for someone to take sole responsibility for the Service Department and drive it forward in every area. With this in mind, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years supervisory Aftersales experience in the same or similar role, with a proven ability to organise and direct others. It is also essential to have a detailed understanding of related statistical and financial information so that these can be interpreted and acted upon accordingly. Key responsibilities will include: - Management of technicians and service personnel - Recruitment and training of staff -Workshop loading -Warranty -Reporting on monthly performance -Setting budgets -Managing Efficiency -Liaising with the manufacturer Requirements: -Excellent man-management skills -Experience in handling a similar role in the motor trade -Exceptional customer service focus -IT Literate, preferably with knowledge of Kerridge revision 8 or later -Excellent communication skills at all levels -Full UK driving licence If you are interested in applying for this vacancy or would like to check your suitability, please contact Darren@HCP Please note that you must be living in, and have the right to, live and work in the UK.
