Motor Trade Assistant Fleet Maintenance Manager Required for Southend, Essex. £18-23k Depending on Experience Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 Motor Trade Jobs/Automotive Vacancies: Supporting the Fleet Manager, in this role you will be responsible for assisting in all areas of our clients Commercial Fleet department. For the right person there is ample scope for career development. As the Assistant Fleet Manager / Fleet Maintenance Supervisor your position will involve liaising with service providers to ensure that a cost effective and high level of maintenance and service is provided for the vehicle fleet. Your duties will include: - liaising with the company Fleet provider and repair agents - advising Managers on new equipment and specifications - raising and completing purchase orders - liaising and negotiating lease costs for company cars - ensuring servicing schedules and repairs are completed To succeed in this position you must have experience of commercial fleet maintenance and/or workshop control. You will also need knowledge of repair cost control and procedures. This role is ideal for individuals who have previously worked with a workshop environment at a senior level.
