Job Description Job Title:ttGroup Financial Controller Location:tt Surrey Ref cl 00202 Summary of Company Group Financial Controller sought for multi outlet Company in Surrey. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Group Financial Controller for a well established plant and equipment leasing and service company in the Surrey area. Candidates applying should be fully qualified with a proven track record in running a fast paced professional accounts operation, excellent management skills and a high level of computer skills a must/ Key Initial Responsibilities -tManaging of a Head Office Accounts Department incorporating book-keeping, accounting, banking and credit control. -tPreparation/responsibility for monthly and annual management accounts for the company and reporting to our main manufacturer JCB. -tPreparation of weekly performance reports -tPreparation of selected and responsibility for all accounts reconciliations -tOngoing advisory role in explanation of financial and management accounts and reports to departments to maximise the performance of the business. -tPreparation/responsibility for all budgets, forecasts and cash flow forecasts. -tPreparation of corporation tax computations and submission to tax advisors. -tResponsible for VAT returns, PAYE issues and compliance with all relevant legislation. -tPreparation or Statutory Accounts and preparation of year end audit files for external auditors. -tResponsible for the Credit Control Department of 2, cash management of the business and reporting of cash management performance -tMaintaining up to date and adequate financial management policies to run the business. -tEnsuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures. -tContributing to overall success of Greenshields JCB Limited through teamwork and good communication within the Company. -tMaintaining high standard of business house keeping. Future Responsibilities -tFull financial management of the business -tCompany Secretary to each of the companies -tCreation of financial policies -tManagement of computer development Qualifications, Experience and Skills -tFully qualified accountant in a mainstream accountancy body -tAt least 2 year post qualifying experience in running an accounts department with full responsibility for the preparation of all accounts (including consolidations) to tight timetables. -tProven management skills -tKeen analytical ability -tExcellent computer skills
