A leading and reputable automotive retail group has a unique opportunity for a dedicated, high-calibre Dealership Accountant to be instrumental in the continued success and growth of one of their prestige dealerships in Surrey / West Sussex (near Gatwick Airport).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a key member of the dealerships team, you will be responsible for managing 2 sets of accounts and adding value and managerial support to the dealership. You will work with the dealership management to improve the performance of the dealership, ensuring the companys assets are physically validated on a regular basis and ensuring satisfactory controls are maintained in all processes by monitoring and supporting these processes. You will also be responsible for ensuring all accounting and reporting deadlines are adhered to and will produce timely and accurate financial information in accordance with stated policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate will need to be flexible and results orientated with the ability to meet both manufacturer and internal deadlines/controls, whilst maintaining excellent staff satisfaction, development and retention. They will have a good understanding of the motor industry and 2-3 years minimum experience of working for a main automotive dealership. A working knowledge of Kerridge is preferred.
BENEFITS:
£36,000-£37,000 basic (inc bonus) + car
