GENERAL MANAGER, MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS Middle East £72k + Substantial Benefits (TAX FREE) HCP INTERNATIONAL A fantastic opportunity for an experienced, driven and dynamic senior Marketing Manager / Director retailer to play a leading role in the massive growth plan of this leading Middle Eastern Motor Group. representing both prestige and volume brands. JOB PURPOSE Plan, manage, direct and control the overall management of marketing and communications for the Group in the development of sound marketing, branding and communication strategies; providing accurate and professional image to support the company's business needs; to build and maintain a professional and impeccable brand for the Group. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/MAJOR TASKS 1. GROUP MARKETING OPERATIONS -Formulate and implement effective marketing plans and strategies, in line with the Group's business and corporate strategies. -To ensure effective management and implementation of the plan to support the strategic thrust of the company. -Continuously assesses and evaluates the implementation of planned initiatives, which include but not limited to the collaboration with advertising agencies to implement tactical advertising and media plans; the investigation and recommendation on how to respond to market trends, competitor activities and customer demands; the identification of product potential -Liaise with internal and external entity of the Company to seek and provide information on the product and services. 2. STRATEGIC MARKETING MANAGEMENT -Establish Group's brand values, product brand and develop strategic brand direction in line with the group's business and corporate goals and objectives of business units. -Develop and execute marketing strategies and programmes to increase brand awareness and identity for Group products and services. Liaise with event management in handling the launching of new products. 3. MARKET RESEARCH -Monitor market trends and report significant and related business activities for the purpose senior management decisions through the capture of information such as competitors' SWOT, product portfolio, market share and penetration, pricing and promotions. -Liaise with business development section to retrieve market research and forecast to predict market demands and customer trend to steer the Group towards profitable growth. 4. RELATIONSHIP BUILDING -Build and maintain close working rapport with key customers through good Customer Relationship Management and attractive products offerings to ensure existing business ventures are maintained and future business opportunities are secured, contributing to the continuous generation of revenue for the group. -Establish and maintain close rapport with the media and press community to ensure the Group will at all times be brought into good light of the public, further enhancing the good name and image of the business and family. 5. MARKETING & PROMOTION -Initiate and develop in the development and implementation of marketing and promotion strategies for the Group's new products, to ensure that products will be marketed, positioned and branded to consumers in the most effective and efficient way. 6. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT -Develop and build employees in the department through effective technical and soft-skills training; work closely with the HR Department to manage performance, motivation, prospect and value of employees; ensure adequate span of control and competent level of staff. 7. STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION PLANNING -Manage strategic communication planning of marketing and press/media events, internal communication and publications to promote a professional public image of the Group. To implement and oversee the delivery of communication strategies; monitor progress and review regularly. EXPERIENCE -Basic Degree in Business -Marketing/Management -Minimum 8 years working experience in marketing and promotion in similar industry. COMPETENCIES/SKILLS Functional -1.
