We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a specialist dealership of a regional automotive retailer in Hertfordshire (initially in St Albans and then moving to Hemel Hempstead in December 2008).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a key member of the accounts team, the Accounts Assistant has responsibility for supporting the Dealership Accountant in all administrative accounting functions for the site. Main duties will include daily cash banking, posting of credit and direct debit payments, understanding of manufacturer web sites for downloading invoices, checking bonus etc, understanding of nominal codes, purchase ledger and reconciling statements and other duties as and when required. Training will be given in some areas.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate will have accounts experience. Knowledge and experience of the motor trade would be preferred but is not essential, however experience of retail accounts is required.

Hours of work - 9.00 am - 5.30 pm
