Our client is a reputable franchised car dealership in the London, who requires a Dealership/Management Accountant with experience of working in a franchised car dealer group to join them. JOB PURPOSE: To manage all financial and administrative activities on behalf of the Dealership To support the Dealership management team achieve their financial objectives through the provision of accounting advice and support. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain standards of performance within the accounts team through effective coaching and performance management. Recruit and select the team members in line with organisational requirements. Produce all statutory information accurately and to specified deadlines. Ensure all management accounts are submitted and any variances highlighted with the Dealership management team. Manage the cash flow and funding requirements to minimise costs and maximise interest. Advise and assist the management team in developing the annual business plans, forecasts and strategy. Manage the ledgers and ensure the processes and procedures are followed in an efficient and effective way. Monitor and review all accounting and administration systems in all departments to ensure they are efficient and effective. Regularly communicates and interacts with members of other departments to develop the business and the Dealership team ethos. Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring staff comply with Health and Safety requirements. KEY COMPETENCIES: Leadership - Leading by example to achieve clearly defined goals. Strategy/Development - Developing a strategy to achieve the departmental goals and objectives, taking into account, the organisational values and resources and external environment. Managing People - Recruitment, management and development of the team to ensure that departmental objectives are met. |amp;middot;Effecting Control - Implementation and maintenance of proper controls and processes within the department. Taking appropriate action in shortfall situations. |amp;middot;Relationship Building - Ability to build relationships with senior managers from within the Dealership, the Group and from the Manufacturer to ensure the Dealership receives the appropriate level of support. |amp;middot;Customer Focus - Awareness and understanding of customer requirements and how they can be met through the Dealership. |amp;middot;Communication - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, with internal and external customers. |amp;middot;This operation see|amp;#39;s their Accountant as an integral part of the management team..
