Development Manager
Honda Motor Europe - Car Sales

Based Langley, Berkshire.
Our client, Honda Motor Europe are looking for a Development Manager to support their Distributor Operations in improving car sales, profitability and customer service. A key role, supporting Pan-European Distributors, requiring the ability to fully understand the various cultures and markets, in terms of market size, language, regulations, tax and climate. Good business and financial acumen as well as strong strategic thinking and excellent interpersonal skills to build successful working relationships throughout Europe.
Main Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for developing sales and marketing strategies for each individual country.
Managing the Distributor's stock control system, including sales forecasting, stock levels, order submissions and product planning.
Develop strategies for product pricing, grading and budget planning.
Develop pricing and grading strategies to support profitability, volume and brand image.
Develop budget planning and conduct country specific analysis to forecast market changes.
Monitor financial status of Distributors.
Skills and Experience Required:
Degree qualified or equivalent.
Experience in export and auto manufacturing.
Ideally international experience.
Evidence of developing strategies and automotive distribution highly advantageous.
Analytical and logical way of thinking is essential, with an excellent eye for detail, ensuring accuracy at all times.
A "Customer First" thinker, highly enthusiastic and self motivated to continuously improve process.
Leading, managing and motivating a high performance team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
Good financial and business acumen.
Availability to travel to Europe occasionally.
