Compliance & Risk Executive

Honda Finance Europe

We are seeking a Compliance & Risk Executive for Honda's European finance division Based at their prestigious Head Quarters in Langley, Berkshire.

The role will be operational and varied; reporting into the Compliance & Risk manager involving areas of Risk Management (procedures & policies), Honda Corporate Governance, compliance reporting and Motor Finance regulation.

The successful candidate will provide HFE with key compliance support in the area of reporting, company procedures, Honda corporate governance and consumer regulation.

The individual will be prepared to participate in reporting, development of policies, procedures and training which will ensure that the business is efficient and compliant with regulations, whilst still able to provide a high level of customer service.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

• Be able to demonstrate a highly organised accurate approach to your work.
• Ability to structure a plan, analyse and review effectively.
• Self starter that can be relied upon to ensure objectives are achieved to deadline.
• Effective Communicator at all levels.
• Good knowledge and use of Microsoft office programs and IT environments.

Involvement in other areas of the department where required, particularly for project work including Sarbanes Oxley and Honda Corporate Governance.

Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing. Maintaining fraud reporting system. Compile detailed daily business reports. (Credit, Collections & risk related) Internal departmental auditing. Regulatory Reporting to outside agencies -e.g. Finance Leasing Association. Identify, analyse & document issues and risks. Liaison with consumer credit regulators and agencies. Assisting in regulated customer complaint handling. Develop and assist in maintaining the departmental policies and procedures. Maintain the Honda network's Finance Consumer Credit licences. Assist in providing training for Fraud, Data Protection and Regulatory changes. Liaise with Legal Firms on regulated matters.
