Motor Trade Assistant Accountant required in Preston, Lancashire Up to £15k basic dep on experience. Monday - Friday 9-5:30pm Automotive Vacancies / Motor Trade Job Our Motor Trade Clients have an excellent Job opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our clients busy Automotive Dealership in Merseyside q To assist the Company Accountant in producing accurate and timely Management Accounts. q To maintain regular balance sheet reconciliations, and to provide accounting support to staff at all levels. q To work effectively within the dealership team to ensure industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times. Our Motor Trade Clients Job Requirements: Operating Controls Ensure the accurate and timely completion of administration and operational tasks, complying at all times with Company reporting and other policies. Strive to achieve a consistently high level of customer satisfaction through outstanding personal and professional conduct. Policies and Practices Greet all customers and visitors promptly, courteously, and professionally. Ensure all environmental, Health & Safety and other Company policies and practices are strictly adhered to, operating within the law at all times. Personal Criteria Display professionalism and motivation at all times, responding positively to beneficial change and supporting the companys reputation for excellence through high standards of personal behaviour, including appropriate dress code. Assess own performance and effectiveness and undertake personal development activities. Education · Minimum GCSE in maths Experience · 2 years experience in a similar role (preferable) · Experience of accounts work (sales ledger / purchase ledger / cashbooks) · Computer skills, including experience of operating spreadsheets (Excel), word processing and database packages, email and internet Our Motor Trade Clients require the applicant to have an Accounts background preferable to trial balance stage. Needed for the completion of Bank Reconciliation, Purchase Ledger control, Debtor control, and general assistance to Accountant in the provision of financial information within deadlines.
