Our Client is looking to recruit a experienced Senior Accountant for their prestigous site in the East London area.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the accounting functions of allocated dealerships; for the accurate maintenance of accounting records and balance sheets; for the provision of financial support to the dealerships and for the supervision of accounting staff.
The Role People To ensure all team members have clearly documented objectives will allow them to support the business aims of the division. To coach all direct reports, ensuring they have challenging and stimulating work at all times To support a working environment in which team members are motivated and enjoy working with Jardine Motors Group. To monitor the performance of direct reports Chair monthly team meetings Customer To achieve agreed levels of service to dealerships To communicate regularly with customers, internal or external To support good relations between the internal customer and the RAC team To act promptly to resolve issues raised by operational colleagues. To ensure that issues are communicated to the DFC quickly (e.g. non-compliance with policy, issues affecting financial forecasts, poor practice, staff concerns) Technical Responsibilities To adhere to Jardine Motors Group financial controls and policies without exception To report within all deadlines set. To maintain high accounting/administration standards. To produce accurate monthly management accounts and submit manufacturer composite. To fully reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly. To comply with all processes and systems. To provide information for the dealership management asand when required. To review the work of the accounting team as appropriate. To provide input into the forecasting and budgeting process.
The Person : This is very hands-on role and the person appointed will have: A professional accountancy qualification Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Strong Management skills Strong accountancy skills Strong customer facing skills Be able to comply with all company and manufacturer's disciplines, procedures and reporting analysis Be flexible and have a GsoH
