A fantastic opportunity to join an International major manufacturer and supplier of components to the automotive industry. This business requires an experienced Sales Manager to manage their existing external sales team currently comprising of two UK based sales people, two German based sales people and one Italian based sales person. Their products are manufactured from two sites in the UK and supplied to most of the motor manufacturers in the UK and Europe. Therefore there would be a certain amount of European travel within the job role. ESSENTIAL requirement is that you would need to be experienced with sales of automotive components at Senior Management level within the industry and your duties would include responsibility for the team, external management of customer base and business marketing. It would be beneficial if you spoke languages although not essential but would be extremely advantageous if you spoke French as this is a market place they are looking to make acquisitions. Whilst a strong education level would be required and possibly a business degree the most important criteria is that you have attitude, aptitude and enthusiasm.
