Our well known client is looking to recruit a Fully Qualified NVQ Level 3 (or Equiv) Vehicle Inspector.
Your duties will be to examine vehicles checking that they meet Company and Government guidelines, diagnosing faults, specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used, whilst managing staff and ensuring smooth flow of work through the workshop and where possible increasing productivity. You will be taking particular care to identify recurring defects and keeping track of the cost of repairs. You will need to be familiar with all modern repair equipment, current Health and Safety procedures, you must have or be capable of attaining a full PCV licence, MOT licence preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be a Senior Technician/Workshop Controller capable of leading a team and able to use there superb communication skills to improve working practices and develop staff.
