Job Description
Design, Development and verification of Electrical Engineering systems Engineer Urgently required to work for our Global Automotive Client based in the Midlands.
Description
Design, Development and verification of Electrical Engineering systems. Working with Engineers from all disciplines and liaising with Suppliers, Manufacturing, Finance and Programme Management. The activities will include development, process starting with defining system requirements, developing the specification and all the system documentation including FMEA's, Quality History Review, Design Validation plans, Robustness demonstrations, timing plans, release packages, development of diagnostics and carrying out validation plans, supporting vehicle builds etc.. Must also communicate progress, issues etc..
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Knowledge and experience in using G8D, 6-Sigma or similar concern resolution process essential. Strong project management skills. Ability to drive project team to deliver results on time. Good communication skills/presentation skills. Familiar with DMAICR process. Ability to analyse large quantities of data.
Skills Preferred:
Understanding of electronics hardware design tools and 6 sigma tools would be advantageous. Green Belt certified - desired. Black Belt certified - desired. Ability to Use Hazard plots for predicting future warranty spend. Strong project management skills and good team player. Ability to drive suppliers to deliver results on time. Ability to generate AWS reports.

Experience Required:
Experience of working with suppliers to deliver electronic systems preferably automotive applications. Must be familiar with using Microsoft office tools. Knowledge of Design and Development, understanding of processes. We also require some mechanical people and this updated info will help to get the right people. Experience Preferred: Experience of using Electrical tools such as Matlab Simulink, Can and Lin bus tools.
Education Required:
Candidates must have a minimum of HNC / HND in electrical, electronics or other applicable fields, ideally educated to degree level.
