Job Description

Two world-renowned brands, combined with legendary engineering. At Jaguar Land Rover we've got a great reputation to uphold, and our Chassis Engineering team is a crucial part of that. With the impact the chassis has on the braking, ride, handling and agility of a vehicle, it's essential that we get it exactly right. The Chassis Engineering team work on the suspension, sub-frames, engine mounts, brakes, steering, wheels and tyres, honing every component until it functions perfectly.

As a Project Engineer you'll take an overall view, bringing together all the elements for the vehicle - leading and coordinating the engineering of chassis projects into production. Working across Jaguar and Land Rover products, on a range of vehicles with very different characteristics, you'll enjoy a variety of challenges. Providing vital assistance in benchmarking, assessment and verification processes, you'll offer strong guidance to your colleagues and liase closely with other departments and suppliers.

Qualified to degree level, you have demonstrable engineering experience - designing mechanical or electromechanical products and resolving complex technical problems. Motor industry experience and knowledge of quality tools would be an advantage. Good teamwork is vital, so you'll need excellent communication skills, and the experience to know how to bring people together. You are driven, adaptable, and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Producing a premium product is rewarding work, and you'll make a real difference to the customer's driving experience.
