Job Description

Two world-renowned brands, combined with legendary engineering. At Jaguar Land Rover we've got a great reputation to uphold, and our Chassis Engineering team is a crucial part of that. With the impact the chassis has on the braking, ride, handling and agility of a vehicle, it's essential that we get it exactly right. The Chassis Engineering team work on the suspension, sub-frames, engine mounts, brakes, steering, wheels and tyres, honing every component until it functions perfectly.

Joining a team responsible for analytically generating strength and durability loads for both components and vehicles, your ability to use semi- and fully-analytical modelling techniques, analyse test data and identify sensitivities will be crucial. Identifying, planning and delivering technique and process improvements, and optimising design concepts across a range of both Jaguar and Land Rover products with very different characteristics, you'll enjoy a variety of challenges

You are a skilled CAE analyst with experience of multi body system analysis, and detailed knowledge of Adams software - ideally with experience of modelling active control systems and using F-Tyre models. Driven and adaptable, you have proven experience of automotive suspensions, or closely related systems. Good teamwork is vital, and you'll be coaching less experienced colleagues, so you'll need excellent communication skills. Producing a premium product is rewarding work, and you'll make a real difference to the customer's driving experience.
