Job Description
To provide technical support to manufacturing and improve existing manufacturing processes.
Description
Our client designs, manufactures and supplies servomotors to drive manufacturers, system integrators and large OEMs worldwide. Founded in 1914 and manufacturing servomotors for 30 years. They focus on the design, development and manufacture of its own motors and does not produce servodrives or any kind of control electronics. This is seen as a positive advantage by their customers, many of whom are manufacturers or distributors of servodrives and controllers.
Job Requirements
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will provide technical support to manufacturing, with responsibility to improve existing manufacturing processes, supporting the introduction of new products and new process equipment. Ideally the Manufacturing Engineer will have a degree in Engineering and have the experience of applying best practice manufacturing techniques. You will be able to help drive process improvement and continuous improvement philosophies. Our client is in the process of making major changes in their manufacturing operations including a move to lean cells and a more visual management. The Manufacturing Engineer role is critical in aiding some of these changes and they require a high-calibre individual who has the desire and ability to develop further within the organization.
