In this interesting and vital role, you will provide technical, strategic leadership in the key areas of logical architecture, physical architecture and communications bus. You will play a leading part in the development of open architectures and capable communications buses to ensure that a competitive infotainment system can be delivered in future.
With previous experience working with automotive communication systems, you will deploy best-in-class techniques and create technology roadmaps, competitive benchmarking data, attribute futuring and gap analysis. This varied position also involves the initiation of advanced research projects to the company's internal technological gateway system, leveraging the resources of universities and suppliers.
With a minimum of a 2.2 degree, it is essential that you have development experience using high level software languages - such as C++, C#, Java, Visual Basic and XML. A successful track record of on-time completion of project documentation and evidence is another requirement. A sound knowledge of automotive infotainment systems and experience in the generation of functional specifications are also both necessary for this post.
