Franchised car dealership - paying a negotiable basic + car + bonus + perks

We have been instructed to assist a highly reputable franchised car dealer group to source a Sales Manager for their operation in Middlesex. You will have experience of running a large successful sales department with at least 10 staff, within a franchised motor retailer. 

You will be responsible for:
-Formulating new and used car sales policies
-Setting and implementing departmental targets
-Meeting sales forecasts
-Developing the necessary sales organisation to meet sales and profit objectives
-Maximising sales and profitability through satisfaction and retention of customers
-Ensuring optimum stock of cars on premises and/or on order
-Ensuring cost control to budget within department
-Ensuring that the sales team follow effective and correct procedure
-Developing and maintaining strong relations with external companies such as finance and insurance houses
-Recruitment and training of staff
-Liaising between dealer senior management team and the manufacturer

The ideal candidate will be a team player ability to 'think on your feet' and be able to motivate others to do the same, whilst ensuring excellent organisation, is essential. You will be target driven and focussed in exceeding such goals, and ideally looking to make your mark on the UK Retail Motor Industry. You will also have a solid and successful background in vehicle sales and management within the prestige sector of the UK retail motor industry
