Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established and well respected company, to develop a career in selling vans. Some customer facing or sales experience would be welcomed, but what you have done so far in your career is not critical.  You will, however, be articulate, comfortable with figures and have the drive to succeed.  Initially the job will involve co-ordinating sold vehicles through body builders, paintshops, sign writers, cleaners etc.  Part of the responsibility would be to sell to customers who call in to the premises or who phone in.  The work will mainly be administrative to start with requiring a combination of common sense, speed, accuracy and confidence, learning about the business and the products, working closely with the team and personally mentored by the General Sales Manager.  When your ability to sell vehicles is established, you can expect the position to change into a full-time selling role, daily visiting new and existing customers, and establishing a reputation in the local business community for service and reliability.  Product and sales development training will be provided.  In return an excellent package commensurate with experience, with minimum guaranteed earnings in the first year is offered.  The Company is an equal opportunities employer, offering staff discounts on cars and parts, a very active social club and all the advantages of joining a progressive and expanding family business, including a company pension scheme, after qualifying service.  A full clean driving licence is required.
