Workshop Controller req for Prestige Commercial Dealership in Swansea Reg: CL33706 Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 + Bonus + Benefits Location: Swansea An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Controller to join this well established and busy commercial dealership based in Swansea. This position will suit an enthusiastic individual with at least 2-3 years workshop control experience who would enjoy a busy role. The ideal candidate must have worked previously in a workshop control position and have good organisational and man management skills as well as having a “hands on” approach. Responsibilities include: oDelegating workloads to productive staff in a workshop. oSupervising 13 Technicians, 3 Apprentices & 3 Service Drivers. oExtensive liaison with Service Department to ensure smooth running of all jobs carried out to the dealerships standard. oLiaising with and assisting Technicians oChecking recalls and liaising with warranty department oEnsuring WIP’s deadlines are met and carried out in a cost effective manner. oGaining authorisation from customers to carry out additional work. oResponsible for inputting Technician’s hours on to the system. oAdhering to company’s Health and Safety regulations to prevent accidents within the workplace The ideal candidate must also have a good understanding of warranty procedures, this will be for any warranty work that is being carried out in the workshop, you will also be responsible for timing up job cards, entering codings and ensuring invoices match the hours sold.
