Job Description

Our client who is renowned for providing professional Commercial Vehicle fleet management services and contract hire are about to enter a new and exciting phase of their development. To date the business has grown largely as a result of repeat business gained through delivering exceptionally high levels of support provided to their already well established customer base. With the new plans in place the company is now ready to appoint a fleet maintenance Controller to look after their growing fleet.
Their numerous and varied vehicle fleet is largely maintained through a number of third party agents throughout the UK. Your role will be to ensure that they are delivering the very best levels of support. Reporting to the Operations Manager you can expect considerable autonomy and impact as you co-ordinate breakdowns, organise servicing and inspections, analyse repair costs and apply your expert technical knowledge to negotiate repairs efficiently and effectively.

You will play a pivotal role in bringing new contracts on line and building relationships. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, able to build relationships with clients and suppliers alike. We encourage both experienced controllers, enthusiastic characters with industry aligned knowledge or qualified HGV Technicians wishing to forward their careers to apply.

In return you will receive a basic salary up to £24k plus a generous bonus scheme based on target performance approx 20%. Generous holiday leave of 25 days plus bank and public holidays.
