HGV Commercial Technician Required Bristol (phone number removed) Salary: £22000K Basic OTE £32000 Location: Bristol (phone number removed) Our Client is seeking to recruit a fully trained HGV Motor Technician to join their already successful team. The company offers competitive rates for the right employee. You need to be able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative. You must have at least three to four years recent experience in a similar role; ideally you will have experience on DAF vehicles although this is not essential. A HGV license is a must for this position. Maintenance Work Performance of all maintenance services according to the manufacturer's instructions and according to the maintenance schedule/Service processor All visual inspections, adjustment operations, adjustments, operating fluid changes and additions, replacement of worn equipment (e.g. brake linings) Resetting of the maintenance system Cleaning and care of the customer vehicle Repair Work Responsible for repairing and servicing of vehicles Diagnosing faults on vehicles Carrying out warranty repairs to manufacturers guidelines Stripping fitting and replacing components on vehicles. Dealing with customer queries Ensuring that all jobs are running smoothly and deadlines are met.
