Operations Manager Paint & Bodyshop
West Midlands (M5/M6Corridor)
Circa £40 - 45K + Car + Benefits Package
The Client
Our client requires a professional and dedicated Operations Manager able to demonstrate an excellent track record within the automotive / replacement parts / bodyshop and refinish sector.
The Role
* Development of bodyshop performance / processes at key strategic sites
o Implement the companys agreed processes
o Monitor and report KPIs
o Coach and guide sites on performance improvement activity
* Improve and maintain co-branded paint sales through nominated sites
* Audit approved company bodyshop network against agreed standards / procedures
The Candidate
Target Profile / Experience
* Detailed understanding of:
o Bodyshop operations and processes
o Paint suppliers / systems
* Understanding of parts margin structure and job costing
* Able to function at Senior Management level
Capabilities
* Excellent communication and people handling skills
* Process thinker / continuous improvement orientation
* Negotiation and influencing skills
* Self motivator, able to operate remotely and upon own initiative
* PC literate (MS Office Word / Excel (Advanced) / Power Point /
Access)
