Motor Trade Skilled Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilders, Altrincham, Cheshire £8.50 per hour + significant bonus scheme + O/T Motor Trade Job / Automotive Vacancy: Our client, is currently seeking to recruit skilled Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilders. Main objectives To produce a finished trailer or vehicle body to a high level of quality, within reasonable and agreed timescales. Main Duties Reading, and working from drawings. Understand specification sheets. Marking out. Work with different materials such as: hardwoods, fibreglass, steel and aluminium. Use and apply the following skills to a high level: Assembly, Drilling, Cutting. Riveting, Welding, Grinding, Use of hand tools to a high level of skill. Undertake appropriate training when required, and then operate overhead cranes and other machinery as directed by the Supervisor. Lead a team competently in order to produce a quality, finished product, on time. Adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping standards in own area. Reduce wastage by using raw materials and consumable items carefully. Assist the Company in caring for the environment by disposing of waste products correctly. Other duties as required by Supervisor.
