Motor Trade Automotive Vehicle Technician, Shrewsbury, Shropshire

£17 – 20k basic plus bonus

Mon – Fri 8.30 – 17.30

Due to expanding opportunities, our Motor Trade clients a leading Automotive Dealership in Shrewsbury are able to offer an exciting Job and career move for an outstanding Motor Trade Vehicle Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join this dynamic Motor Trade team. With leading mechanical skills and service performances and a reputation for outstanding productivity and efficiency, the successful Motor Trade Automotive Technician / Vehicle Technician will need to be self driven in their desire to take the next step.

What our Motor Trade Clients are looking for:

Customer Service Focus:

· Approach every situation with a desire to understand and deliver

· Listen effectively and communicate clearly

· Use every contact with the customer to build a relationship

· Take responsibility for ensuring nothing is left to chance

Operational/Commercial Focus:

· Contribute to good housekeeping

· Contribute to the maintenance of health and safety

· Care for the customer’s Motor vehicle

· Complete paperwork thoroughly

· Make initial inspection of the Motor vehicle

· Diagnose Motor vehicle faults

· Make quality check at end of work

· Use company computer systems efficiently

· Monitor your own performance

· Create and maintain positive working relationship

· Contribute to improved service processes

Business Focus:

· Work with all areas of the business to improve retailer profit and customer care

· Appreciate the impact of wider business issues onthe retailer and customer

· Represent the Motor trade Client

Education:

· City and Guilds Part 3

· NVQ, Level 3, Motor Vehicle

Experience:

· Previous experience in a similar role

· Previous experience working for a Motor trade brand or Motor Trade background

· Proven track record in Motor vehicle repair and servicing

· Proven technical ability at a level commensurate with that for selection to the Master Technician course

· Current driving license

· Ability to use technical vehicle repair and diagnostic software tools

· Must have your own tools
