Looking for Next Step into Workshop Control- Established Car Dealer in Cheshire
Reg: CL34327
Salary: £18,000 to £21,000 + Benefits + OTE £26K
Location: Cheshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen for to take the next step in management as our client is seeking a Workshop Controller to join this well established and busy motor trade dealership based in Cheshire

This position will suit an enthusiastic individual with 2 – 3 years technical experience who would enjoy a busy role. You will be strong minded with the ability to demonstrate drive and ambition whilst thinking on your feet!!!

The ideal candidate will ideally have worked previously in a workshop or service environment, full training on procedures & systems will be given, you must have good organisational and man management skills as well as having a “hands on” approach. You must also have the ability to motivate and train staff whilst maintaining targets and deadlines.
Responsibilities include:

o Responsible for the efficient running of the workshop.
o Delegating workloads to five Technicians and increasing productivity.
o Liaising with Service Department to keep them informed of progress and advising on any additional work that needs carrying out.
o Planning and organising hours to sell and drive labour sales.
o Delegating workloads to productive staff in a workshop.
o Checking recalls and liaising with warranty department.
o Gaining authorisation from customers to carry out additional work.
