Job Description

Our clients seek a highly organised Workshop Controller, with previous motor industry aftersales experience, to assist in the control of work carried out in the workshop to maximise service sales and profitability.

This will be achieved by effectively controlling the workshop through efficient operation of the work loading system; through selling core, value added and incremental products; and through effective communication with customers, technicians and other colleagues.

Showing due diligence, accuracy and professionalism, you will control the work loading system and record and process information on work carried out to customer vehicles. This information will be effectively communicated to the customer and technicians to ensure that a cost effective and high standard of customer care is provided. It is therefore essential that you also possess and can demonstrate strong IT skills and good levels of numeracy and literacy. In addition, your effective skills of persuasion and mechanical knowledge will enable you to assess sales opportunities as you sell core, value added and incremental products.
