Product Manager
Warwickshire
Circa 28- 30K + Car (Allow) + Benefits

Automotive Retail and Consumables Programme

The Role

Key Responsibilities

Pricing
Responsibility for both purchase and sales terms, including margin expectations and pricing maintenance.

Range
Product range management to ensure the best possible ranges are available at all distribution sites. Our number one priority as a business is availability of product.

Account Management
The candidate will need to have the ability to manage and handle supplier accounts, to ensure a fast and accurate transfer of data and commercial policies.

Product file Management
Ensure the company product mainframe is fully up to date with various pricing levels, obsolescence, supersessions etc…

Product Launches
Have the capacity and skills to take new product launches to market. Including internal communications, pricing, inventory, distribution and marketing activity.

Marketing Communication
Competent writing skills are needed to assist the marketing team in the production of marketing copy and literature relating to retail products. Internal communication forms a key part of the BDM’s activity to keep our sales force and branch managers up to date.

Supplier Account Management
Experience of the Automotive Aftermarket
Good knowledge of Marketing

Overview

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the automotive distribution sector. Preference will be given to those with pricing and product management experience.

The candidate will initially manage a portfolio of established suppliers with potential to extend this to cover more in the medium term. Over the course of the next twelve months the automotive components sector will continue to go from strength to strength as part of our business strategy. So the candidate needs good capacity to learn and develop their skills long term. As well as offer an immediate solution by having a clear understanding of what is required to manage existing product ranges.
