Business Development Manager

• - Fire / Governmental / Homeland Security

 

Northwest Region

Competitive Salary, Basic 40-45K + Bonus, Circa 55-60K + Company Car + Benefits 

The Client

  

Our client is a global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of sophisticated safety products that protect people's health and safety. They supply the industrial and mining markets on five continents. Each year, their products are shipped to more than 120 countries.

 

The Role

 

The Business Development Manager will service existing accounts, whilst introducing and developing value added business to the company.  You will understand the competition, maintain analysis of the market, develop and implement the Sales Strategy. You will also have the ability to present seminars to new and existing customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of the sales plan for the company within the Governmental sector.

 

The Candidate

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:-

• Sales experience within the Portable Gas detection / safety industry would be an advantage
• Sales experience within the Governmental sector would be an advantage.
• Proven track record of achieving targets
• Self motivated individual who works well as part of a team
• Planning and Organizational skills
• Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Negotiation & presentation skills
• Well developed IT skills
• Ability to build business tender documents
• Act in a professional manner at all times consistent with the aims and values of the company.
