The Client
Our client is a pioneering supplier of quality products and has an enviable reputation for outstanding customer service. As a leader in the marketplace and to assist their growth and success they require a Sales Manager for the North of England Region.
The Role
The role predominantly consists of the management of existing customers along with business development of current projects. The role has both commercial and technical aspects including servicing existing Electrocoat customers. The successful candidate will be required to work within a dedicated industrial team and have the ability to communicate and work effectively with both current and potential customers.
Main job aspects:
Ensure sales targets are surpassed in line with company business policy whilst maintaining profit margins on existing business and seeking suitable pricing at new accounts.
Business development coordinated in line with the activities of others, including laboratory and technical service to meet new customers' demands.
Sales / Material forecasting - assessment of client portfolio to establish monthly product requirement, annual sales targets and trends within the market place.
Ensure customers both potential and existing receive suitable support to meet high satisfaction requirements.
Prepare documentation for all customers to develop business relations.
Bad debt management.
