Automotive Components - UK Parts Aftermarket
The Client
Our client is a leading supplier to the world wide automotive industry of automotive components, systems and chassis parts. Within their global business unit, their aftermarket sector is at the forefront of innovation and technology and benefits from their OE presence and pedigree. To assist with their continued expansion of the UK aftermarket division we require a dedicated, dynamic and driven account manager to develop sales via the independent parts distribution sector.
The Role
Your prime remit will be to develop sales via distribution channels within the UK aftermarket focussing on key automotive components and parts distributors within your region. In addition you will be responsible for distributor support via training, garage workouts / visits and updating the distributor network with new product references and technologies as they evolve. The role also encompasses new account development and new distributor appointment in weak geographical location coverage.
The Candidate
We require applicants ideally with the following experience and skills….
• Experience of field sales, account management or territory account management
• Automotive based experience ideally within the aftermarket sector at supplier or distributor level is desirable
• Clear presentation and communication skills both written and verbal
• Solid PC skills particularly within Microsoft packages i.e (excel spread sheets, word and power point)
• Self starter, motivated and results driven attitude with an ability to demonstrate determination and high levels of enthusiasm for a notoriously tough market
