A vacancy has arisen within this Franchised Dealership for the position of a Vehicle Technician.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the Service Department. Working accurately and skillfully, you will undertake the repair and servicing vehicles, whilst detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair. You will carry out all work safely, ensuring that our customers go way completely satisfied with the service and level of workmanship delivered.

The main responsibilities of the role include the following:

To ensure that all work is carried out to the highest possible standard and delivers complete customer satisfaction.

To ensure that all work complies with MOT and safety standards.

To complete the necessary paperwork and ensure that all job times, materials and costings are recorded accurately and all job sheets are forwarded for pricing.

To monitor jobs in progress and to update service personnel on a timely basis.

To maintain all workshop equipment, tools and other equipment safely in accordance with Company policy.

To achieve all deadlines set by the Workshop Controller/Service Manager.

With a positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach, you will be educated to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent, and will hold an NVQ level 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology and a City & Guilds part 3.
