Description
Our client is a world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment. With many years of experience in the Fuel Injection Market.
Job Requirements
The Software or Systems Engineer will have an automotive background, educated to degree level in electronic, electromechanical or mechanical engineering, and have experience in developing real time embedded control systems. As the Software or Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the development of real-time electronic control systems for diesel fuel injection equipment and other integrated engine and vehicle electronic systems. Working within a cross discipline, you will be responsible for developing high quality embedded application software, for a number of OEMs.
Details
Duties will include capturing and analysing customer requirements, designing control algorithms (using Simulink), designing system diagnostics and CAN communication specifications. Calibrating sensor interfaces and diagnostic strategies, servo controls, regulators and supporting customers engine and vehicle testing. Your duties will also include engine and vehicle control application feature design using Matlab Simulink, implementation of control features using strict ANSI C, integration testing on bench, rig and engine using commercial software, in-circuit emulation and background debug tools (e.g. EST BDM probe (PowerPC), Lauterbach.
