Job Description

Senior Kerridge ERP Specialist, based in Kabul, Afghanistan.

We are a global aid and development dealer for Ford Motor Company and sell/modify vehicles for use by humanitarian and development non-governmental organizations, government and commercial businesses. We operate in an expanding and dynamic international environment of general trading and service operations in emerging markets.

Key responsibilities of the post:

  • Based in Kabul, Afghanistan, we are looking for a Senior Kerridge ERP Specialist to drive successful implementation and integration of the ERP system at the operator level across all modules and company work groups
  • To train ERP specialists, users and managers to enable efficient use of the system
  • Create ad-hoc and advanced management reports
  • Solve day-to-day process problems and recommend process improvements to enhance the performance of the ERP system
  • Monitor end-of-day automated processes, investigate errors and take corrective action
  • Submit formal support requests to ADP helpdesk, maintain a calls log and follow all issues to resolution
Ideal candidates will possess:
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
  • At least 3 years experience working with Kerridge systems
  • Strong Kerridge systems experience at an advanced level
  • Sound knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, database languages and applications such as MS-SQL, MySQL, MS Access
  • Good knowledge of IP based connectivity issues
  • Experienced in Client/Server, WEB, LINUX, UNIX, Windows NT, Window 2000-2003, XP
  • Practical working knowledge of computer hardware configurations, Microsoft products - Microsoft Operating System, networking and configuration of Local Area Networks and wide area networking technologies
  • Functional expertise in structured systems analysis & design along with good diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of information flows corresponding to key business processes in auto industry
  • Ability to work independently is essential along with being a good team player and customer oriented
