AM/1791/1107 Experienced Technician / Mechanic
We are currently seeking an experienced motor trade/automotive vehicle technician to work within a successful motor trade car dealership. The right candidate must be fully qualified or with a number of years experience, you must also have main dealership experience (preferably prestige background) as we will be looking for someone to walk into the role.

Reporting to the Workshop Controller/Supervisor, you would be responsible for carrying out inspection and service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner.

Duties Inc:

Ø Test and diagnose vehicle faults
Ø Plan necessary work and order parts to ensure vehicles are ready as promptly as possible
Ø Carry out all servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
Ø Discuss any work requiring specialist skills with the workshop supervisor/controller
Ø Accurately report vehicle faults and work carried out to service reception
Ø Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition
Ø Maintain correct warranty procedures and clocking details in line with defined company procedures
Ø Recover defective or damaged vehicles in line with the supervisor’s instructions
Ø Maintain knowledge of technical developments through attending training courses as required by the manager
Ø Present the company well
