Business / Operations Manager Bodyshop / Crash Repair / Paint

Midlands

Circa 40 - 45K + Company Car + Pension + Benefits

 

The Client

 

Our client seeks to employ a knowledgeable and experienced Operations / Business Manager to develop their bodyshop and paint business sector.

 

 

The Role

 

Position Summary:

• Negotiate terms directly with key Accounts
• Establish and develop contacts with Insurance companies
• Act completely independently of the Parts Manufacturers UK Dealers
• Liaise with Dealers to ensure effective parts supply processes
• Single point of contact for all Key Account issues:

• Purchasing Terms
• Availability
• Billing

Build relationship with Key Account central buying office and / or national outlets or bodyshops Identify opportunities to develop the Parts Manufacturers UK offering towards Key Accounts

 

The Candidate

 

Target Profile / Experience:

• Detailed understanding of:

• Bodyshop operations & Refinish
• Insurance industry
• Paint suppliers
• Understanding of parts margin structure and job costing

Able to function at Senior Management level Financially competent and able to structure purchasing agreements

Capabilities:

• Excellent communication and people handling skills
• Negotiation and influencing
• Self motivator, able to operate remotely and upon own initiative
• PC literate (MS Office Word / Excel (Advanced) / Power Point / Access)
