Automotive Account Manager - OEM / OEMidlands Based - UK Wide
30-45K Circa + Car + Benefits + Genuine Career Advancement Opportunities

Established just under 50 years ago, our client is an experienced and committed leader in their field.  With their advanced technology and product innovation they pride themselves in providing outstanding customer service and pioneering products / solutions.  To facilitate their company's market success they have an excellent opportunity for a professional OE / OEM Account Manager to join their valued and dedicated workforce.

  

The Role

 Your prime remit will include the following:

 Manage and develop an existing customer base within the UK.

• Conduct market analysis and prepare/execute UK strategies and action plans.
• Manage and interpret customer requests and prepare customer quotations.
• Scout for new customers in the UK and promote the companies product portfolio / services.
• Prepare customer visit reports for head office, record and maintain customer information and contact data.
• Co-ordinate sales projects with head office liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
• Attend trade shows and other marketing / industry events.

 The Candidate

 The candidate will require the following:

 Bachelors degree or equivalent - Automotive engineering / Engineering Degree.

• Preferably a combined strong sales & technical bias.
• Minimum 5 years experience in sales / account development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to develop, organise and execute sales plans.
• Ability to successfully interface and build relationships with customers.
