The Opportunity:

Our client is looking to recruit a Workshop Controller. Either someone who is already in the role OR fully qualified technician to take over the role of Workshop Controller. You will be responsible for managing several experienced technicians. 

Duties may vary but will typically include:

  • Providing sufficient guidance to enable the Technicians to carry out good levels of repair on motor vehicles.
    • ·         Responsibility for the efficient running of the workshop
    • ·         Delegating workloads to the rest of the team
    • ·         Advising customers on minor technical problems
    • ·         Building good customer relationships
    • ·         Maintaining high levels of customer service including dealing with customer complaints
    • ·         Gaining authorisation from customers to carry out additional work
    • ·         Ensuring good housekeeping and security in the workshop
    • ·         Managing workshop productivity

 

The Successful Candidate:

 

The successful candidate will be provided with manufacturer’s standard training in order to provide the high standards they work to. This role is ideal for experienced technicians and MOT testers looking to make the next move in their career.
