A brand-new role has just opened up at a very inspiring and successful dealership based local to Middlesex. A Warranty Administrator is required to join the warranty team and be responsible for the maintaining of customers service files and ensure the administration is dealt with promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate we are seeking will have previous motor industry experience, excellent administration skills and outstanding attention to detail.

As a Warranty Administrator you will be…

  • Completing all administrative functions within the warranty department and ensure they are carried out in accordance to company policy
  • Managing warranty policies in the best interests of the dealership, manufacturer and customer
  • Precisely checking and raising retail pro-forma invoices for quotation and passing onto the customer
  • Communicating effectively timescales and repairs to the customer
  • Keeping accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections and customer contributions towards goodwill claims.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with other staff members, specialist repairers and manufacturers' representatives.
  • Speaking with customers in regards to the services that are provided and what problems they are experiencing with their vehicles
  • Promptly answering incoming telephone calls and scheduling service appointments
  • Informing and keeping customers up to date of how much additional work will cost and obtaining approval to proceed with the repairs
  • Supporting other staff members on all related matters when required as well as ad-hoc duties
  • Complying to all health and safety policies and standards

Our ideal candidate…

  • Only an individual from a Warranty/Service Administrator background within an automotive main dealership will be considered for this role
  • Kerridge experience is highly desirable for this role
  • Strong administration and IT skills
  • The ability to work productively individually and also within a team
  • A confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

What will you be rewarded with?

A basic salary ranging from £20,000 - 25,000 is on offer and you will also receive a £3,000 bonus on top of this
