Our client is a franchise main dealer based in Bolton with a very successful brand and part of a motor retail group with an excellent reputation to both candidates and employees who requires a fully trained and qualified Vehicle Technician.
               
Salary and Benefits:

Basic salary is £10.50 per hour plus bonus, overtime and employee benefit scheme.

Type of Role:

This is a full time permanent role based in Bolton working 42 hours from Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

* Inspect, service and repair vehicles
* Diagnose, report faults and best means of repair
* Completion of paperwork in relation to each job
* Carry out MOT's
* Maintain a clean, safe and healthy working environment

Skills and Experience Required:

It is essential that you have been fully trained and qualified as a Vehicle Technician (Mechanic) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair to NVQ level 3 or equivalent and hold a full valid driving licence.

The ideal candidate should be skilled to the level that they can work unsupervised in carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs to vehicles whilst maintaining the highest of quality control standards and be self-motivated. Main dealer experience and being an MOT Tester would be an advantage but not essential.
