About the Role
They are now looking to appoint a Vehicle Inspector to consistently provide efficient and effective vehicle inspection products and services to our client’s customers, you will be responsible for consistently achieving quality and quantity outputs in line with their SLA’s and branch targets.
You will accurately inspect cars and commercial vehicles producing accurate and detailed reports for use in the auction process and by customers and support the yard team with ongoing process and movement of inspected vehicles, to ensure the efficient and effective flow of vehicles around the site. Taking high quality photos of the vehicles and ensuring images and inspection standards are in line with current SOP.
Ensuring that the onsite process for key storage is followed to ensure that keys can be tracked and traced and interact with customers as appropriate, to give information regarding inspections as and when required to demonstrate expertise and value of the product and service.
They are looking for someone who has knowledge of BVRLA fair wear and tear standards, vehicle derivatives, a full UK Driving License, competent skills and experience in operating computers and hand-held devices and will ideally have mechanical knowledge.
You should have excellent customer service and administration skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written, strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and good analytical skills with the ability to work in line with KPI’s and SLA’s.
