Trainee Car Sales Executive
Automotive Retail Dealership

4 weekdays + Saturday & alternate Sundays

 

Renault-Nissan Leicester will be hosting an Open Evening for people aspiring towards a career in automotive sales. This is your opportunity to show us how good you could be as one of our Trainee Car Sales Executives.

 

Successful candidates will be offered a career with Renault Retail Group, starting with a permanent full-time job as a Trainee Sales Executive at Renault-Nissan Leicester, located on Abbey Lane LE4.

 

The Open Evening will be held in early December 2016 at a specially selected venue in the Leicester city centre. Due to limited capacity at the venue, entry will be by invitation only.

 

No experience is necessary! Simply, we are looking for confident people with excellent verbal communication skills that are looking to extend their skills into a rewarding and lucrative career in motor retail.

 

You must be:

  • a driver with a full UK driving licence

  • able to work our shifts, as listed below.

     

    Leave the rest to us. We will provide a dedicated and supportive training programme for all selected candidates.

     

    For candidates that successfully join us as Trainee Sales Executives:

  • Composed of £10,000 pa basic salary plus commission on sales of vehicles and add-ons (OTE £26,000 pa)

  • The commission scheme is supported by a guaranteed minimum commission of £500 per month for up to six months. This is applied pro-rata for part-months on joining.

  • i.e. guaranteed minimum of £16,000 pa OTE pro-rata, with higher earnings expected as your experience grows

  • Superb career advancement prospects within the Group

  • Industry leading training specifically for staff that are new to automotive retail

As the role will also involve test drives, all candidates must hold a full driving licence.


For the purposes of our company insurance, full UK driving licences must have been held for at least one year. Unfortunately we cannot consider candidates that hold a provisional licence or an automatic-only driving licence.

At any point during the first 6 months, Trainee Sales Executives that are doing well will graduate to become a full Sales Executive, for which there will be an upgrade in package to a basic salary of £14,000 per annum, uncapped commission (OTE £36,000 pa), a company car, and a tax-efficient car following after one month operating as a Full Sales Executive.


Fringe benefits include 24 days annual leave, pension (4%, 4%), employee benefits and discount scheme, secondary car option (loan plan) after 3 months service, access to career development training and worldwide career opportunities.

  • Periodic hosting of off-site events

 

Hours:

You must be able and willing to work the following shifts and hours:

  • * Alternating 5- and 6-day weeks
    • week 1 = 4 weekdays + Saturday
    • week 2 = 4 weekdays + Saturday & Sunday
  • * 8:30am to 6:00pm weekdays.

  • * Saturdays 9am to 6pm.

  • * Sundays (on rota) 11am to 5pm.

  • * Occasional late rota on weekdays with a 7pm finish.

  • * One weekday off per week and alternate Sundays off.
