We are looking for a Service Manager with customer focus as well as a strong technical knowledge that can pull a team together to make the department run efficiently. You should have the drive and leadership skills to push the department forward, implementing new ideas along the way. Candidates must have the ability to work effectively in what can be a high pressurised environment, must be smart in appearance, determined and proactive. To be considered for the vacancy candidates must have experience in a service/aftersales environment, ideally within a prestige motor retailer. Your key role will be to oversee the service advisors, technicians and support team within the service department. To maximise profitability and effectively market and oversee the sales of manufacturer service plans and warranties, labour hours, lubricants and subcontracted sales. Also to assist the service advisors as and when required, effectively deal with any customer issues and complaints. Regularly review processes for improvement, and monitoring and working to monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
