The role of Senior Regional HR Advisor is to manage a team of 2 direct reports and complete account management activities based on site with our automotive logistics client on Southampton Docks.
Client Details Our client are a leading global name in the Automotive and logistics industry. The RMS HR Managed Services Division provide a bespoke, onsite HR, Recruitment, Operational and Strategic Services and Solutions for this innovative and ever expanding business across the UK. The operation in the South is based across 3 sites, Southampton Docks, Bristol and Maple Cross, this role will involve coordinating and traveling across sites.
Description This role is on behalf of the onsite Recruitment & HR Consultancy, providing a full spectrum Human Resources function involving working closely with the senior operations management team to ensure effective delivery of business objectives through people as well as advise on management and utilisation of people through a clear understanding of business objectives. You will be responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of the Recruitment and Human Resources processes and procedures for all of the workforce, including temporary, FTC and permanent labour. The labour workforce consists mainly of Compound Drivers, Vehicle checkers, bodyshop technicians and operatives, Quality Inspectors, administration staff and management.
Proactively supporting and advising the most senior managers of the business on recruitment, induction, attendance, retention, resource planning, organisational design, employee relations and performance management to meet business needs through a HR Managed service. To provide reliable and trusted employment law advice. Ensuring all procedures and policies are clearly adopted and managed through a systematic approach and KPI's are tracked and monitored and all policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated and communication to employees on the changes is clearly understood.
Profile The ideal candidate will have experience in; disciplinaries and grievances, TUPE, recruitment & selection, knowledge of current employment law, writing contracts and offer letters, payroll, absence trend monitoring, policies & procedures and account management. Have some experience of HR Management, leading a team or mentoring HR Advisors / Administrators previously. You should be able to demonstrate a clear HR managed service approach, preferably coming from a fast moving, industrial environment. As a Senior HR Advisor you must be able to adopt a real visible and hands on approach to the operation, working with the managers to understand operational and people challenges.

Hours of work: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
