About the Role
As Regional Inspections Manager, you will manage and oversee all inspection related activity in Scotland and North East England.
You will manage, consult and advise the Inspection Team in their day to day duties, ensuring that correct resource is available for expected unit entry to inspect vehicles, meeting customer SLA’s, sale day demands and the efficient operation of inspections. Working alongside management teams within your area, you will provide regular feedback and support on day to day inspection related operations and closely monitor productivity and quality standards, providing and circulating reports and addressing any performance issues. Working with the Assistant General Manager Operations, you will advise the auction centre on the flow of vehicles throughout the outside operation and ensure that various areas, from inspection to reconditioning, valet or storage are working together to maximise capacity and efficiency.
They are looking for an individual who has expert knowledge of NAMA AutoGrading and who has a proven competence and ability of vehicle estimating, techniques of repair and the vehicle inspection process. With a proven track record of improving team and individual’s performance, you will drive teams to meet SLA and KPI requirements and be confident influencing stakeholders to create service/technical improvements.
With effective people management and negotiating skills, you will have a flexible approach and the ability to react to an ever-changing environment. Those who hold an industry recognised qualification such as IMI or BVRLA are highly desirable.
