Reporting to the Parts Manager candidates will have the ability to work in methodical and organised method whilst maintaining their workmanship to uncompromising standards. Candidates with knowledge / experience in a parts/stores environment is required. The ideal candidate will hold experience within a motor trade industry. Candidates must also hold a good understanding of all Microsoft packages – Word and Excel; and must be competent at using spreadsheets.
Ensure that when purchasing, issuing or returning parts, stock, equipment or consumables the correct company procedures are satisfied. To ensure that parts, stock, equipment or consumables are moved and stored in a safe and secure manner.
·Assist in stock counts as required.
·Control Bodyshop consumables and paint orders.
·Book in parts orders and stock allocation.
·Price additional estimates such as fleet claims as and when required.
·Book in stock, code and pass for payment via the Company’s invoicing procedure.
·Undertake research and development when required.
·Assist with Control tyre stock.
·Ensure the accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks, complying at all times with Company Reporting and other policies.
·Strive to achieve a consistently high level of customer satisfaction through outstanding personal and professional conduct.
