As part of an in-house marketing team you will be responsible for introducing your Area Sales Manager to professional buyers via telephone contact, PR, personal presentations, social media, exhibitions and relationship building.
There is no telephone selling, the role is about building relationships to create new business. Ideally you will have had experience in a marketing role and be keen to get in touch with professional buyers to make things happen, we will train suitable candidates to the required standards.
Key responsibilities are:-
Prospect relationship building to generate sales opportunities
Working with Area Sales Managers to win new business and retain work
Taking new products to market
Business promotion to professional buyers / warm leads, there is no cold calling
The job will involve speaking directly with directors/owners of companies and retailers, as well as marketing and new product development teams and so good communication and telephone skills are essential along with tenacity.
